So the first weekend of this month the hitmen had another tournament. They came in first place thanks to Jakes awesome goal in over time. It was a nail biting game. They were tied into over time and with less then a minute Jake shot, and got his own rebound and just put it in the back of the net to win them first place.

2010 - forever

We may not be there yet, but I know one day we will, and I will walk in those doors with my best friend, and when we walk out we will have forever with each other.

When I think back to when I was a little kid, I didnt know I would fall for a city boy, who plays hockey.
To be honest I never really watched much hockey before he came into my life, and now I dont know how I would go without it.
I grew up in a small town, where everyone knew everyone. We played kick the can for night games, You could walk from one side to another. Spent the afternoons playing in the field, growing up with all the same people. Hah I remember singing to Faith Hill and Celine Dion, (I still do) But When you grow up with your world around you, you never think of the changes life might have for you.
I guess you could say, who would have thought a country girl would be with a city boy.
At 16 1/2 A crazy city boy, with his music to load, and to many girls in his back seat, he didnt see a stop sign and came smashing into my life. I was to proud and blind to see that, that crazy boy had my whole future in his hands. (even though I was strongly encouraged to go over and talk to him, I wanted nothing to do with a boy from a big city, or one who had so many girls around, that paying attention to me wasnt going to be at the top of his list..)
To this day ,he makes himself known by smashing into my life. (in a good way) He is the reasons for my life changing, and the reason that I believe in forever.
I feel when you find that someone you love so much, and you know there is a way to be together forever, that who could pass that over. That is why I am glad that God gives us that. So from a little country girl who is in love with a city boy. This is our story and things we've done. (though there are a lot more) and all the rest is yet to come.




Our 2nd Anniversary. We went out to Phoenix and watched the Blackhawks Play the Coyotes. We had the best seats ever (3rd from the glass, right behind the goal tender)
It was such a wonderful weekend. When we got back into town Jake had booked us a room up at Mt Charleston Lodge, We spent the whole day together and just relaxed.

So this Halloween, we put on a Haunted House at my best friends house. Kristen, and I started planning like in August. It turned out really awesome, not as many people showed up as we would have liked but we had a good time.



Moms (Kathy) Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! We had a surprise party for her which she had no idea, and all the boys kind of left her at the house all by herself. She thought that we all had forgot about her Birthday. So at first it took a little convincing from the boys to get her to come over. But then SURPRISE !

2008

Christmas 2008

Jake family goes out to Chicago almost every year, and this year they were going out there during Christmas. Me and Jake decided we would stay behind and have our own Christmas.
I worked Christmas eve, when I got home, Jake had the fire on, and tons of blankets, and pillows out by it. He had got me the Christmas cartoons that I would watch, and had them on for me. We stayed up and watched them, and snuggled by the fireplace.
Jake woke up in the middle of the night about 2ish and we opened our gifts. I loved it, even though I wasnt home for the holidays. It was still a wonderful Christmas, in fact I want more like it.



A new thing I learned. Eating doughnuts off a string. Jakes family does it every year and they race to see who can eat them the fastest.

Our wedding was so nice. It was relaxed, and we got to enjoy each others company. Jake looked amazing in his Tux. He stole my heart from the first time he kissed me.
I'll never forget how he looked at me, and told me he loved me on that day.

2008

At the end of January Jake told me he wanted to live in Vegas, and wanted us to pick a wedding date. So we sat down and right on the spot we just picked March 21st. Jake went to Vegas at the end of that week and was there until the end of February when he came up so we could take our engagement pictures. I packed our apartment, planned a wedding, and moved in less then 2 months. I enjoyed planning the wedding, but the days were long. With a full time job that was an hour from my place, packing and planing. I would do it all over again, but I know there would be some changes. I miss though that I didnt have Jake around to plan with. So I keep telling him when we go through the temple, I want to do a little something with just the family. I know its a ways away but I am excited, because I know I love him and that he is the one I want to be spend forever with.
