4th of July I had my little sister and her friends hanging out with us.
We were out at the lake, we swam during the day, and were going to watch the fireworks at night from there. Well little did we know how big the bugs were out there, and how many. So we went back to the apartment and watched movies
At the time it was one of the best 4th of Julys

Jakes Birthday over at the apartment. 22 years old !

Spring of 2007 I moved out, just to the town next to the one I grew up in. I was spoiled. It was a huge place. Shortly after Jake slowly started moving his stuff in, little at a time :)









Christmas 2006, I bought Jake tons of Blackhawks stuff. See how it makes him Smile.
I love to just give the gifts that make people smile.






Jakes 21st Birthday, we spent it in Vegas, and we went and saw tournament of the Kings. I would go see it again, They put on such an entertaining show, with dinner and all.





Jake graduation, it was so nice.After wards we went out to dinner and talked about what he wants to do now. He would like to own his own company one day. And one day I am sure he will. We were and are proud of him. He is so smart, it is like breathing for him. He know look at a computer and just know. :)








Interesting note. This wolf, was standing there for awhile. 2 weeks later this same wolf got out.. He didnt harm anyone just made a mess, they were able to get him back with out much problems.


This was Jakes Favorite, its a Sand cat. He said he wanted to get one lol.


This little guy was my favorite there at the time. But I love the big cats.


In April we took a trip up to the Zoo in Salt Lake. We spent the day walking around, playing the big slides made out of the trees by the petting Zoo. We had never gown to the zoo with other, so we decided that we would go just hang out.

Christmas 2005, I got my camera from Dad. Jake had stayed over that night, and he was the first one up. He woke me and little sister up with a flash in our face and said look what Santa brought me. It was so much fun having Jake over, we got to do puzzles, watch Christmas cartoons. :) I love Christmas it's my fav time of year.



Jakes 20th Birthday, He didnt want to share the cake I got for him. (2005)
We got engaged that March, it was the Saturday before Easter. We had talked about it, and I knew he had the ring but I didnt know when he was going to pop the question. He was so cute, it was more personal just me and him. I wouldn't have changed it. To this day I keep my ring on unless I am showering.

Not sure where all my pictures have gone, but We started working together while he was still in school. :) We have gone to a lot of movies, in which I have saved the stubbs to. We visited Vegas every 6 or so months.






Christmas 2004 We spent Christmas in Utah and New Years in Vegas



My First trip down to Vegas I got to meet Jakes Family. They were and have always been so welcoming, and invited me into their family from the start.





The following summer I started working in a photo studio, and I had a friend take some pictures of us.






This was my Sweethearts Dance, my Senor Year in High school. Dont we look so good.
It was a girls choice and so I decorated his room (after picking it up) He was so cute, we already knew we were going with each other. but he had made me a card and some chocolate kiss roses.

This wasn't our first kiss but it was cute, Jake wanted to get a picture of us kissing and this is what it turned out to be.








This was our first Christmas together, well it was more around new years.

I cant state when we became a couple cause Jake always said he doesnt ask girls to be his girlfriend, but that he doesnt kiss girls either until they are his girlfriend. So I have always gone by the date of our first kiss, though we had been hanging out with just each other since early September.

Our first Midnight movie ( I think the only midnight movie) Pirates of the Caribbean, it was on Halloween, and it started snowing while we were in line.

The very, very, first time we ever met though, was 2 years earlier.
Jake had just moved, to Payson and had left the school. At the same time I was calling my Dad wondering where he was cause I wasnt going to walk home. My Dad told me he just got into a wreck and was at the gas station around the corner with my dog.
When I got there my Mom was there, and I was sitting in our other car, while my Mom kept telling me to go talk to the cute boy who just crashed my Dads car. I didnt want to go talk to him because he had a bunch of other girls with him, and had messed up my dog. Jake had ran the stop sign (it was behind a bush, which they ended up cutting that bush out) and smacked into my Dads car.

About 3 months after we started dating my mom kept saying he looked familiar.
She asked if he had ever been in a car wreck. Jake had said only once and it was with a green station wagon. (did I mention I was glad he wrecked that car)
My Mom put two and two together. He's been paying for that wreck since then :)

So I wanted something kind of Eastery, and I put this together real quick it, and the best part is I only spent 8 bucks :)

Our Trip

Where we stayed Sunday night. It was sooo nice. I loved it. It is so worth the hour drive up there. :)

2nd Anniversary

I cannot believe it will be two years already. So even before Christmas we had started to plan our little vacation. We are going to see the BLACKHAWKS play live in Phoenix.
I am so excited, that I am really counting down, 8 days and 20 hours. I will be sitting 3 rows from the glass behind the phoenix coyotes goal tender. I do not expect to come back with much of a voice, but I will get tons, of pictures.. Yea I am a little to excited, but this is my first Blackhawks game. Kind of sad as I am married to the biggest Blackshawks fan I know, or probably will ever know.

But I dont want to forget the best part, I married a sweet guy who spoils me, and makes me a better person. We have been together for 8 years and married for 2 of those.
I love our little inside jokes, and sign meanings. You know you're on the same page when Jakes leaves and I look at him and do a lil sign and when he looks up he's doing the same thing. LOVE IT..
I'll never forget our first kiss.
It was on a Wednesday night, Jake use to play basketball at his church which was about 5 minutes away from my house. He was about to leave after watching movies, and I walked him to the front door when he picked me up (as I am a great deal shorter) and kissed me. I dont remember him really leaving, but I remember knocking at the door, and found myself still on the landing so I opened it, and it was him. He had time to drive home, change and come back to my house. (I had the biggest butterflies, and time had no meaning at that moment) I opened the door and he kissed me again for much longer. He took my breath away then and still does to this day.
He has been my very best friend through all these years, and I know he will always be there. We can share anything with each other. I am excited for with this year as in for us.

Since I have only had 2 days a week for the last 3 weeks now, I thought I would have fun doing some cute crafty decorations. Maybe if I can real real good at it, I might be able to one day make some money off the little crafts I do.

So last week, I thought it would be fun to try making candies, and send them to my nephews and nieces. I think for my first time round that it turned out pretty dang cute. Nothing better than molding candies out of chocolate. I love baking..

Thoughts

Life cannot be explained in a simple sentence..

When you think you lest need something is when you will find it.

When it is most inconvenient, life will throw the things you long for the most in front of you.

When you are terrified to make the move is when you will find that there is no better choice than to just do it.

Life will not just come to you if you sit by and wait for it, but if you work for it, it will come across easily.

Find something you love doing and you will never have to work a day in your life.

The best things in life AREN'T things at all.

Never take someone for granted, hold your loved once close to your heart,
because you might wake up one day and realize that you lost a diamond while you were collecting stones.

Out with the old in with the new !

2010 here we come.

It is so crazy to think we are already 2010, last year went by so fast, and we got to do so many things. Crazy cause I know this year will be even better. This year has started off so wonderful, we got to spend it with family and friends, and with each other. To be honest we haven't done much but spend time together. One of my goals for this year is to slow down and take time to to spend with just Jake, even if it is just staying in bed all day with him and playing Super Mario Wii.. Which we have done lol. I have so many goals that I cannot sleep at night, because I am just excited about them.
We are planning a trip, and some personal goals to benefit us, and I am so proud to be married to a man who doesnt just set new year goals but life long goals. So as for 2010 I am ready for it, I am so ready to take on lives new challenges, and make it the best year we have ever had.

The best of sugar cookies

I love this time of year, I ended up making cookies for the better part of the day on Thursday. I had a lot more fun decorating them then I did baking them..
These are the things I like to do, give from your heart, give people your time.
I hope everyone gets the chance to give a little from the heart this year..
